Tulip Time Festival

Historic Downtown Pilot point

It’s tulip time in Pilot Point and there’s a day of fun in Historic Downtown Pilot Point to celebrate! Pilot Point Main Street will kick off the first ever Tulip Time Festival on Saturday, March 16th from 2:00pm-6:00pm. There will be music, vendors, and food for everyone to enjoy as well as the local businesses around the Square to visit. The Tulip Time Festival was created as a compliment to Texas Tulips which has received national recognition for their amazing business on the eastern edge of town. They open their beautiful fields to visitors in late February/early March and remain open for about 5 weeks.  Last December, thanks to a partnership between the Pilot Point Economic Development Corporation and Texas Tulips, volunteers planted 1,000 tulip bulbs on the Square for viewing. They are beginning to grow and should be at their most beautiful the day of the festival. The tulips on the Square are available for photos only! If visitors would like to pick tulips, they’ll need to go out to Texas Tulips which is open 7 days a week during the season from 10:00am-8:00pm.
